Earning Your Digital Badge or Physical Certificate: Essential Information for Youth Program Participants

Everything You Need to Know About Your Final Project and Digital Badge

Successfully completing your course and earning your digital badge or physical certificate is an exciting achievement that signifies your hard work and dedication. Understanding the requirements and processes involved in this final stretch can help you navigate your journey effectively.

Please note that Online Students earn a Digital Badge and In-Person Students Earn a Physical Certificate. 

🎓 Final Project Submission

For courses that have projects, to receive your digital badge or physical certificate, you must submit your final project by 11:59 PM on the last day of class. This project represents the culmination of your learning, providing you with an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding and creativity.

Please note that no extensions will be granted for the final project submission. 

📊 Final Presentation

For courses that have final presentations, you must present during your final class to earn your digital badge or physical certificate. The presentation is an essential component of the course, showcasing your ability to apply your knowledge and communicate your ideas effectively.

📭 Feedback and Badge/Certificate Delivery

After you submit your final project or complete your final presentation, you can expect to receive personalized feedback from your instructor within five business days. If you are taking an in-person program, you will receive your physical certificate at the end of the last day of class as part of the Final Showcase. 

If you are online, you should recieve your feedback via our Learning Management System and your digital badge will be sent to your email via Credly. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folders. 

🚫 No Extensions Policy

Please note that no extensions will be granted for the final project submission in accordance with the No Extensions policy. We understand that life can sometimes present challenges, but to maintain fairness and uphold the integrity of the program, all students must adhere to the same standards and timelines. We encourage you to start early and plan ahead to avoid any last-minute issues. This proactive approach will help ensure you submit your project confidently and receive the recognition you deserve!
