A Guide to How Your Grades Are Calculated and What It Means for Your Certification
Understanding how your grades are weighted is crucial for planning your study strategy and maximizing your chances of success. By focusing on each component - assignments, the midterm, and the capstone - you can ensure that you meet the necessary requirements for certification.
To earn your certification, you'll need to meet specific academic requirements throughout the course.
To earn your certification at the end of the course, you will need to achieve an overall grade of at least 70%.
Your final grade is calculated based on the following criteria:
- Assignments: 20%.
- Regular assignments throughout the course contribute 20% to your final grade. These assignments are designed to reinforce your understanding of key concepts and skills. Completing these on time and to the best of your ability is crucial for success.
- Midterm Assignment: 30%.
- The midterm assignment accounts for 30% of your final grade. This assignment is an opportunity to demonstrate your grasp of the material covered in the first half of the bootcamp. Take this assignment seriously, as it significantly impacts your overall performance.
- Capstone Project: 50%.
- The capstone project carries the most weight at 50% of your final grade. This project is designed to showcase everything you have learned throughout the bootcamp. It is your chance to apply your skills in a comprehensive project, so ensure you include all required elements and adhere to submission deadlines.
Being aware of how your grades are distributed is key to achieving your certification. Focus on each component of your coursework to ensure you meet the requirements. As you progress through the bootcamp, stay organized and proactive in your studies.
Your hard work will pay off, and we are excited to see you succeed in this journey!
