Exploring Key Concepts, Tools, and Applications in Your Learning Journey
This course will allow learners to explore the foundations of the different medical occupations. They will learn how organs and systems work together to maintain a state of balance. They will be exposed to industry-standard frameworks and theories that will help them predict how body systems respond under different conditions.
Through controlled simulations, students will analyze real-world medical cases, interpret symptoms, and develop initial treatment plans. This course is perfect for learners interested in health sciences who want to be exposed to hands-on exercises.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Explain how the human body systems work.
- Predict outcomes using medical frameworks and theories.
- Analyze medical scenarios in a controlled environment.
- Interpret medical data to state a treatment plan.
Capstone Project - Medical Log Book
Learners will be exposed to multiple scenarios, and they will work together to find the best medical solution for the patient in each scenario. They will evaluate medical data and deliver recommendations on the next steps for patient’s care. For every scenario, they will document their thought process along with the patient’s information and the final recommendations. They will also write a brief reflection about each scenario.
Learners will submit their logbooks to the instructor.
